This is LIFE!   March 2021 ~ Issue 2 Hey Everyone! Welcome to the March newsletter. We know that this semester has been an interesting one, but we hope that you are still having fun and learning as much as you can! Please reach out if you need anything!! Monthly Challenge We are going to be doing some fun monthly challenges. There will be a new one each month and a chance to win some fun prizes!!      March Challenge:   Send in your favorite song!    **Email the song and the artist to msulifescholars@gmail.com   **At the end of the month we will make a LIFE Scholars playlist that will be made available to everyone.   Prizes:    **Everyone who participates will get a prize this month.   **Prizes can be picked up in the office on Wednesday March 31st.   Last Month's Challenge (Take a selfie with a statue)  **Gillian, Billy, Karstyn, and Andee thank you for participating in last month's challenge. Please come and pick up your prize in the office (Reid 310).    5 Fun Things To Try This Month! 1. Visit the library and try out the Virtual Reality space.  2. Go to the Procrastinator theatre and watch a movie.  3. Go to the Museum of the Rockies! 4. Participate in a Service Saturday. (This month its the 6th) 5. Work out at the gym on campus or try a virtual fitness video. They even have Zumba! ***When you try something please email pictures*** Upcoming Monthly Event    March JumpTime Night!!   Date is to be determined     February Art Night!   Last month we had a watercolor art night at Biome Slow Craft Collective. We had a great night and learned a lot about watercolor techniques. On top of that we all created some beautiful pieces of artwork!!    February Virtual Trivia Night!   In February, we put together a LIFE Scholars trivia team. The event was put together by the Special Olympics Illinois College Inclusion Council (CIC). There were 13 other teams from different states that participated in the virtual event. Our team took 3rd place!!!   Happy Birthday!! Welcome Kelyn's baby girl, Relm, who was born February 26th.
